The Railway Lodge 6 is a lovely detached house is in a small development of 8 houses in Mulranny, 6 miles from Newport, 7 miles from Achill Island and 19 miles from lively Westport town. The house has three stories with the living areas on the first floor and a roof top terrace where you can enjoy sea views. There is a free Wi-Fi and a ladies and gents bicycle for your enjoyment.
Close by is the hotel with a swimming pool that guests can use on a Pay as You Go Basis (closes seasonally), Jacuzzi, gym, bar and restaurant open to the public. Both the Wild Atlantic Way and Greenway cycle and walking route are on your doorstep. A wonderful family destination.

The Leisure Centre at Mulranny Park Hotel
The Swimming pool, Jacuzzi and gym are open to non-residents. Railway 6 guests can avail of the leisure centre on a Pay as you Go Basis. It is advisable to book your slots prior to arrival. Call the leisure centre directly on 098 36709.

The Great Western Greenway cycle is an off road cycle / walking trail of 42 km / 26 miles following the old Westport to Achill Island railway line and passes the front door of this property.

GREAT WESTERN GREENWAY TRAIL
The World Class Great Western Greenway (Newport - Mallaranny ) is an 18km free cycling and walking facility which primarily follows the line of the famous Newport / Mulranny Railway, which closed in 1937. Its development has been made possible by agreement of local landowners who have allowed permissive access to users to pass through their lands.
This route covers gentle gradients and some of the most idyllic scenery in the west of Ireland. The route forms part of the National Cycle Network and it is the longest off road cycling experience in the Country.
