Description
The Gate House Residences are located at the entrance to Castlemartyr Resort right at the bottom of the long sweeping drive that leads up to the Hotel. In all there are ten Residences. Each has three bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. There is one master bedroom with ensuite (this can be made up as either a double or a twin depending on your preference), a second and third bedroom both have double beds. The main bathroom is upstairs and contains a bath with shower over it.
The spacious downstairs area features a living room, cosily furnished with seating for 6. A well-equipped modern kitchen is perfect for those who choose to cook for themselves.
Guests of The Gate House Residences have free use of the Hotel’s facilities including swimming pool and leisure centre.

Arrival Information:
The arrival time is 4pm. When you arrive the heating and hot water will be on. Your welcome hamper will include a number of items such as fresh milk, tea-bags, coffee, bread, cheese and other condiments. Perishable goods will be left in the fridge.
THE RESORT
Castlemartyr Resort has so much to offer within walking distance of The Gate House Residences. All is elegantly presented and there is a great mix of style and comfort. Gourmet cuisine is available and is of the highest quality being prepared from local, farm fresh produce. You can spend hours relaxing at the Spa and Health Club which includes a swimming pool, nail salon, sauna, steam rooms, yoga studio, 9 private treatment rooms and a jet pool. If you’re feeling more energetic then you can head outside into the estate’s grounds where you can try your hand at golf, croquet, fly casting and fishing tutorials and even archery (over 12’s only).
HOTEL FACILITIES
Swimming Pool
Children are welcome to use our heated indoor swimming pool at certain times.
Every day from 10am to 12 noon and 3pm to 6pm.
We ask that children are always accompanied with adult supervision at all times when swimming.
Please note swimming hats are required. They can be purchased at the Health Club reception for €3.
The Spa at Castlemartyr
The Spa at Castlemartyr includes 8 private treatment rooms and 2 couple suites, the Beauty Rooms offering hair, nail and beauty treatments, fitness centre including a yoga and fitness studio, ozone treated pool, jet pool, spacious wet treatment areas with separate sauna and steam rooms.
Children in the Spa:
For health and safety reasons the minimum age for young people to use other areas of the spa, including jet pool, gym, saunas and steam room is 17 years.

GOLF
Castlemartyr Golf Club is the creation of renowned golf course designer Ron Kirby whose credentials were honed on such Irish masterpieces as Dromoland Castle, The Old Head in Kinsale and Gleneagles in Scotland. In Castlemartyr Golf Resort, Ron Kirby has developed an inland links that creates a visually pleasing yet challenging experience.
The resident PGA professional is available for golf tuition which can be arranged through the Pro Shop. Lessons can either be taken individually or as a group.
