Beach
Kilkee boasts a mile-long golden sandy blue flag beach which sweeps in a semi-circular curve in front of the town. Kilkee beach is reputed to be the safest bathing place in Ireland.
Kilkee Waterworld
Kilkee Waterworld is a popular all-weather indoor leisure centre offering fun for all ages with a range of indoor water attractions including a bubble pool, shower geysers, the 'lazy river ride' and a 61m crystal tower slide. Tel: 065-9056855. Closes seasonally.

Golf
Kilkee's 18-Hole golf course is situated on the road towards George's Head and stretches along the spectacular cliffs. There are many other Golf Courses within an easy drive of Kilkee including Lahinch, Kilrush, Doonbeg, Woodstock, Ennis and Ballybunion.
Fishing
Kilkee is a fisherman's paradise with shore and rock fishing along with crewed boats available for hire for deep-sea fishing.
Walking
The walks at both sides of the bay offer incredible views of the Aran Islands to the north, Kerry to the south and Loop Head to the West.

There is a well laid out course at the western end of the town.

Dolphin Watching
The mouth of the River Shannon is home to Ireland’s only resident community of bottlenose dolphins numbering approximately 100 members. Boat trips operate from the towns of Kilrush and Carrigaholt (May-Aug).
