Overlooking Old Head Beach, less than 2kms from Louisburgh town, and just a 15 minute drive from Westport, this beautiful penthouse apartment is the perfect place to enjoy magnificent views of Croagh Patrick and Clew Bay while relaxing in front of an open fire. Beach access via private steps in the garden.
This apartment is one of eight, set right by the beach with car park onsite. Two small sets of steps lead up to the front door. As you enter the living room you will be immediately struck by the magnificent sea views through the glass sliding patio doors. You could sit for hours just watching the waves coming in and out on the beach. This is a really comfortable, cosy and welcoming room with soft couches, SMART TV, a great selection of books and open fire (there will be a basket of turf left for you to use). There is a dining table to seat 6 people.
The kitchen is well equipped and has all the appliances you will need including electric cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and fridge freezer. The cupboards are well stocked with cutlery, crockery, utensils, pots, pans and glassware.
There are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a super-king sized bed and offers wonderful sea views out to Croagh Patrick mountain and Clare Island (the home of the legendary Pirate Queen Grace O’Malley). It has plenty of storage space and is ensuite with electric shower. The other two bedrooms are twin bedrooms with two single beds in each and they have access to the main bathroom with stand alone bath and shower over. In addition, each of these bedrooms has a wash hand basin.
The magnificent balcony off the living room is grassed and looks right over the beach below with a sun lounger and patio furniture for you to sit out and enjoy the idyllic setting.
There is a shed to the rear of the apartments specifically for this Penthouse which houses both a washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience.
This Penthouse is much loved and well cared for by its owner and has lots of original art hanging on the walls (can be viewed and purchased on galwayart.ie).
Louisburgh town is just 2kms away and has a great selection of cafes and shops and places to eat and drink.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Due to the steps and the balcony, this Penthouse is really not suitable for children under the age of 8 (babies sleeping in cots and not yet on their feet are welcome though).
- Wifi is available free of charge during your stay
- Energy is an extra charge payable in advance of your stay to Dream Ireland
- Unfortunately pets are not allowed in this property
