More than 200 years old, Marianne cottage is a 2 bedroom cottage newly renovated with lots of modern luxury while retaining its old cottage feel and pre-existing limestone walls and cut stone arch. It has 1 double bedrooms, en suite,and 1 twin/double depending on what you want. There is a large open plan kitchen living dining area and a main bathroom. It forms part of an old farmyard with an abundance of old stone buildings.
This country cottage is approx 80m sq with many interesting unique features. The main room boasts a huge stove with as much firewood provided as you wish. Its perfect for those cold winter nights and cool summer evenings. It has a cathedral ceiling giving it a nice airy feel and architectural features such as the original exposed stone arch and steel beams and sliding doors giving it some industrial charm.
The main bathroom features a bath and power shower. Perfect for the muscles after a days walking, cycling or fishing. Both bedrooms are the same size. The main one being ensuite with a wetroom. The cottage has an oil boiler which means its always warm and lots and lots of hot water from our well. Modern comforts with vintage features throughout, every room revealing some distinctive features.

Marianne Cottage is really child friendly and has a range of sheds for bikes fishing gear etc. A travel cot, high chair and even babysitter can be requested with prior arrangement along with a box of toys, children's books and board games.
